ROSE Fund Research and Report Cards Program
Launched in 2009, the The ROSE Fund Research and Report Card Program is focused on researching DV best-practices and reducing them down to a simple, practical and actionable set of tools and templates that allow concerned citizens to play a role in breaking the silence and the cycle of DV in their local communities. These 'easy-to-use' scorecards allow concerned citizens to answer three critical questions:
- What's the specific impact of DV in my home town?
- How capable is my home town as it relates to dealing with this issue?
- What can and should I do about it?
These tools provide concerned citizens with a simple way to conduct a 'Community Impact Analysis'. It enables them to assess and better understand both the impact of DV in their community as well as the ability to benchmark their community against others in terms of how effectively they leverage best-practices around DV awareness, education, intervention and prevention.
Lastly it provides them with a high level sense of (i.e. a roadmap) how to improve your community's response to DV.
The ROSE Fund Research and Report Card has been developed in conjunction with volunteers and advisors who are well respected for their expertise in understanding what's working well in the effort to increase DV prevention. This program will dramatically increase DV awareness and education, and promises to accelerate the pace at which we break both the silence and the cycle of DV in our communities.
