The ROSE Fund benefits greatly from a number of different teams of volunteers that generously dedicate large amounts of time and energy to our important mission. Specifically we benefit from the generosity of:
- The incredibly talented and generous network of doctors and hospitals that provide us with in-kind medical services
- Volunteers and advisors from the community that help us to plan our events, perform outreach activities and promote our cause
- Volunteers and advisors from leading academic institutions that help us in our research efforts in capturing best-practices and developing tools designed to increase DV education and prevention
- Our largest financial supporter, The Stowe Group, which additionally provides us with everything from free office space to free office supplies.
Based on the way ROSE is organized, and the degree to which we leverage volunteers, in 2009, for every dollar contributed to The ROSE Fund, more than one dollar of medical services and scholarships will be provided to these courageous survivors of domestic violence.
The ROSE Fund is making a real difference in the community through our efforts to stimulate discussion and increase education and awareness around the devastating societal effects of domestic violence. We deliver services that have a profound effect on the lives of battered women (and their children, as 80% of our recipients are mothers) by helping them overcome significant challenges empowering them to lead more fulfilling and productive lives. Your support plays a critical role—enabling us to provide the services and the resources needed to transform their lives, their families and their futures.
Opportunities to support our cause include:
- Financially supporting our Annual Fund
- Sponsoring an Annual R.O.S.E. Award (in the name of your family or your company)
- Sponsoring our Annual Award Celebration Event
- Attending our annual R.O.S.E. Award Celebration Event (by buying a table of 10 or a ticket) -- Register now for our Annual Awards Event
- Donating live or silent auction items (access to vacation homes, golf clubs, fishing trips, boat cruises etc)
- Donating services to either our operation or around our events
- Hosting your own R.O.S.E. Event
- Brokering introductions and meetings with doctors/hospital who may want to participate in the ROSE Reconstructive Surgery Program
